We believe that people matter. We highlight and feature women on a mission and provide a safe environment for women to connect in an authentic way.

WHO DO WE SERVE

We serve Christian women who are mission-driven entrepreneurs. They are determined to accomplish the mission God has called them to whether that’s in business, ministry or social good.

A survey recently taken by the Female Entrepreneur Association indicates that the biggest frustrations women in business face are feelings of being overwhelmed, the lack of focus, not knowing where to begin, and struggles with planning. The responsibilities of women go far beyond their professions and into the realms of motherhood and family. Not being resourced efficiently makes their business journey that more difficult.

There are many entrepreneurial communities however very few focus on the core essentials that really enable momentum in business. After years of working with women in business, we have recognized these key gaps that limit or extinguish momentum. Starting a business or ministry introduces many challenges and learning curves, being able to focus on what matters and consistently following through tends to be a major roadblock. In addition, more often than not women on a mission are not always surrounded by like-minded peers. The entrepreneurial journey for many people is a lonely one, however with Grit & Virtue it doesn’t have to be.

In closing, a recent article in the Huffington Post titled, “ Why 2015 Will be the Breakout Year for Women in Business” stated in their first paragraph that, “Women's empowerment will be front and center in 2015 as more companies and communities invest in women's entrepreneurship -- and as women continue to invest in themselves”. 

Grit & Virtue will be investing in women in business while helping her grow in her relationship  in Christ.

MEETING THE NEED

In 2015, Grit & Virtue is launching a blog and membership platform focused on equipping, embracing, and empowering women to be unstoppable while they pursue their mission. We're located in the San Francisco Bay Area, the hub of tech innovation, and aim to deliver experiences that leverage high-tech and high-touch at every touch point with our customers.

FIERCE DEVOTION

We challenge and encourage women of God to a live a life of fierce devotion in order to cultivate a passionate and intimate relationship with Him. 
 

RHYTHM & FLOW

We provide resources that identify starting points, next steps and milestones, as well as high-touch accountability, to create unstoppable momentum. 
 

COMMUNITY

We create opportunities for like-minded women to build relationships. We bond because of our love for Jesus, connect through our struggles and together we celebrate our victories.

EXPOSURE

We feature and highlight the work of our members, and other women on a mission, to inspire and break down perceived barriers of competition.

2016 AND BEYOND

Our vision goes far beyond online and tech solutions to tangible in-person experience. Below are two areas we plan to focus on after establishing our foundation. 

LOCAL CHAPTERS

Our goal with Grit & Virtue Local Chapters is to create community in-person as a way to dive deeper with our 4 pillars: Fierce Devotion, Rhythm & Flow, Community and Exposure for our members.  

We will start with establishing our first local chapter where we are planted here in the San Francisco Bay Area. 

YEARLY RETREATS: 2016-2017

With a thriving community both online and in-person our next goal is to create Grit & Virtue Women on a Mission Retreat that feeds the souls of our ladies through a reflective experience with worship, messages from both women in business and women in ministry.
